This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Friends of the Wapack. We knew that such an important milestone deserves a logo. We went to our archives and found that our original logo was a triangle with a W that made it look like a mountain peak. The Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Social Distancing requirements has curtailed our plans this year for trail work and trail work days. Many of our Section Captains were able to get out on their adopted trail sections this past winter for trail inspections and to remove downed trees and limbs. We had three trail workdays planned for 2020. We’ll decide on which projects we might do after the health crisis has passed. The Friends of the Read more…
