Northern Terminus (Greenfield, NH)

Located on Old Mountain Road in Greenfield, NH, the North Pack trailhead is the Northern most terminus of the Wapack Trail. Part of the Wapack National Wildlife Refuge. A few yards to the west of the trail head is a new (2012) parking area created by US Fish and Wildlife Service for the Wapack National Wildlife Refuge and Wapack Trail. There is a short spur trail from the west side of the parking area that will take you to the Wapack Trail.


Miller State Park and Temple Mountain (Temple, NH)

Parking is available off of Route 101 in Temple, NH at both Miller State Park and the Temple Mountain Reservation.


Homer Belletete Memorial Parking Lot (Sharon, NH)

Found on Temple Road in Sharon, NH. Parking for approximately 12 cars.


Route 124 Trailhead (New Ipswich, NH)

This trail head is roughly marks the halfway point on the Wapack Trail. From Route 124, the Wapack Trail starts south on the Windblown Cross Country Ski Area driveway. Go straight ahead at the top of the driveway toward our map bulletin board and follow the yellow triangles. Click here to view a map of the Wapack Trail through Windblown with important details. The top of Barrett Mountain is about 2 miles from Route 124. Happy hiking!


Mt. Watatic Trailhead (Ashburnham, MA)

Located off of Rt. 119 in Ashburnham, MA, the Mt. Watatic Trail Head is the Southern most terminus of the Wapack Trail.
