Join the US Fish and Wildlife Service Project Leader and Refuge Manager Matt Hillman and the Friends of the Wapack for a hike up North Pack on the Wapack Trail in the Wapack National Wildlife Refuge. This was the first National Wildlife Refuge in New Hampshire. Last year we celebrated its 50th anniversary. This is a moderately strenuous hike up the tallest mountain in the Wapack Range, distance approx. 3 miles.

As of this posting on Thursday, 4:00 PM. The hike is a go, as the morning hours look good until 11:00 or 12:00. Dress for wet weather and boots with good traction for slippery conditions.
