Members of the Friends of the Wapack will be joining staff from Northeast Wilderness Trust on this walk / hike on the new Binney Hill Preserve in New Ipswich on July 29. Daryl Burtnett, Executive Director of the Northeast Wilderness Trust, announced at our Annual Meeting the Trust’s successful purchase of the 488 acre Binney Hill property! The next step will be a forever wild easement which will include protection of approximately one mile of the Wapack Trail on the property.
