Enjoy a Film and Support the Friends of the Wapack
July 18 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Friends of the Wapack has been asked to participate in a different kind of activity. At the Park Theater in Jaffrey, NH the film Granite Rapids Moon will be shown at 7:00 PM, on Tuesday July 18, 2025. The producer has agreed to donate a portion of the ticket sales, based on those attendees who heard about it from the FOW. This will be determined by a show of hands at the start of the Q&A after the showing.
The movie involves hiking and camping, but in a location very different from the Wapack. It was filmed in the Grand Canyon, with over 82 miles of leave-no-trace hiking, supervised by the National Park Service. It is a family-friendly movie featuring beautiful cinematography, with no sex, nudity, violence, guns drugs, or particularly harsh language. It is directed by Kenneth Cran, with production and acting by John Charles Meyer & Susan Papa, and a professional cast.
