DESCRIPTION:Members of the Friends of the Wapack will be joining staff from Northeast Wilderness Trust on this walk / hike on the new Binney Hill Preserve in New Ipswich on July 29. This is a great opportunity to explore the newest preserve along the Wapack Trail\, and to view recent improvements and learn about plans for the property. All are invited!\nLimited parking is available so please try to carpool. SUMMARY:Wapack Trail Work Day Binney Hill Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Our first workday of 2017 will be on Saturday April 29th.  We will be working on the section of trail through the Binney Hill Preserve which was recently protected by the Northeast Wilderness Trust.  We will be installing water bars\, repairing vehicle caused trail damage\, and improving drainage on the trail.  In addition\, we hope to assist staff from NWT with installation of property line markers around the perimeter of the property.\nWe will meet at the Newest Mall on Routes124/123 in New Ipswich at 8:30 AM\, as there is limited parking on Binney Hill Road. Note that the date of this workday may change due to availability of NWT staff.\nTools are provided. Wear appropriate clothing and have work gloves and study shoes.
